Bokkie is camped on the banks of the Seine with a stunning view of Caudebec-en-Caux on the opposite bank.

Caudebec-en-Caux
We had a bit of a rough night last night - the wind didn't stop and it started raining shortly after we woke up so we set off quite early, serviced Bokkie and went on the hunt for some cheap French diesel.  We managed to find some along the way but the devalued Pound is definitely taking some of the gloss off.

The weather was quite patchy with sunshine mingled with dark clouds and the odd shower, but things are forecast to improve from tomorrow.  The drive today was lovely, going from village to village through the French farmland; everything from spinach and other vegetables to corn, cattle and sheep, all very pretty.

Approaching Brotonne bridge over the Seine

The drive ended with a trip over the very impressive Brotonne bridge before turning off to our aire a short distance from the bridge.  We took a lovely 2 hour-long walk along the river in the afternoon passing underneath the huge bridge on our way.

Bokkie squeezed into one of the tiny aire parking spots

We plan on exploring the Normandy coastline for the next couple of days, as we slowly make our way south.
