After having been unimpressed by Lodeve we're back again! We've had a hard day's driving and it's location suits our journey so we decided to do an overnight stop here again. It seems crazy that a hard day's drive only got us 275 km further, it's completely different to normal travel by car. We would normally think nothing of hopping in a car and doing that kind of distance on the motorway before lunch. With Bokkie, avoiding motorways and big toll roads, it's a hard slog, village to village, roundabout to roundabout with very low average speeds. However, this is what we love about motorhome travel - we get to see so much more of the countryside and 'village-life' by travelling this way. Whilst Bokkie doesn't move very fast as a vehicle, she's very speedy as a house! 😏
We left Villeneuve at 08h30 this morning and only arrived at our destination at 16h00 although we had a good break over lunch - it's great travelling with your own kitchen!

I don't think Napoleon always got his measurements right with his roadside trees. We had to pull in between the trees and stop each time a car or truck came from the front |
