Bokkie is relaxing next to a small lake in Villefranche-du-Perigord having also passed through namesake Villefranche-de-Rouergue earlier in the day.
We woke up to a grey, rainy day and once we set off from the village we realised the visibility was very bad. We drove for a while then decided to stop and wait and see if it lifted. It didn't so we set off again; luckily the lower areas seemed to be a bit better but most of the day was quite grim.
The roads were quite variable today and, as quite often has been the case, seemed to change as soon as you moved from one area to another. As soon as we entered the Lot department the roads deteriorated, different priorities in different areas, I suppose. Bokkie's been getting quite a shake on some of the roads but there seems to be quite a bit of work ongoing to repair things.

We're on schedule for our house sit and will meet the owners tomorrow afternoon.
