Near Issigeac

Sunday 14/04/19

Bokkie's relaxing and we spent our anniversary (28 years 😊) getting to know all the animals in our care and enjoying the French countryside.

Caramel not the least bit impressed with the feeding muzzle...

Irish Sport Horse, Christa

Nina and Demo, ready for supper

Is it Pinky or Perky?  I need to see them together to tell them apart.
This morning we headed off to the Sunday market in Issigeac to sample some of the local produce and were not disappointed.  It was very atmospheric and the quality on offer was amazing, we cycled back with backpacks bulging.

Wonderful food markets in the village

Wonky clock in a shop

We could get used to this - it's nice to take a break from travelling and chill in a lovely location.  Toni's also really pleased to have a working oven - the gluten free bread has been baked, and an apple-caramel crumble is on offer for dessert tonight!
