Pointe du Van

Friday 19/06/20

Bokkie is parked at the appropriately named Pointe du Van near to the most Westerly point in France.  It's a lovely parking spot as there is a large mound protecting us from the South Westerly wind and there are lovely walking and cycling routes on offer all around us.

It looks similar to the Cape Fynbos, doesn't it?

Shortly after we arrived there was a major downpour and for the next half hour we watched bedraggled, grumpy looking walkers return to their cars.  A good thing we decided to have a cuppa before heading out for a walk!

We set off on one of the cliff walks, but unfortunately a sore knee (Andrew) turned us around halfway to the point we wanted to reach.  We're planning a cycle to Pointe du Raz tomorrow as the views there are also amazing.

For tonight, we're tucked up in a row with around 7 other motorhomes, all enjoying this beautiful coastline.
