Pineda to Artcava cellar in Avinoy Nou

It's hard to believe but we have been living in the motorhome for a month now; we moved out of our home on the 8th of November, not quite believing we would be in Spain in a month's time....yet here we are.

We are on the move again, heading South.  We left Pineda and planned to drive around Barcelona and find a spot down the coast a little way but the  beauty of motorhoming is the flexibility, and we decided along the way to stay inland - so now we are in a vineyard who welcome motorhomes to spend the night.  There is usually a tour of the Cava winery on offer but it is a holiday so we missed out.  We are in between Belgian and French motorhomes and it looks like someone has set up a 'tiny home' a short way away, certainly a lovely spot to stay.  As an added bonus there is an aerodrome across the valley so I got watch a few take-offs and landings.

We took a walk through the area (and set off all the guard dogs during siesta time) and then accidentally trigger the motorhome alarm when we returned.  We certainly disturbed the peace - it is incredibly quiet in the village between 1 and 3pm -  but they haven't asked us to leave (yet) so we'll stay the night.  The plan is still to amble our way South - quite slowly -  and find somewhere to rest up over Christmas.
