Taking it easy in Pineda

We decided to spend another day in the campsite to unwind, there were still a few things we wanted to do before moving on.  We went for a long walk this morning and happened upon the early morning market in Santa Susanna.  The quality of the fruit and vegetables in the stalls was fantastic....unfortunately we forgot to take money on our walk, so it was a feast for the eyes only! 

There was quite a cloud bank so it took the sun a while to break through.  Then it was time to head back for some breakfast cooking, outdoors to enjoy the warm sunshine.  We've missed doing this often in England.

We headed out for quite a long bicycle ride later to the Lidl for groceries, only as much as we could get in the rucksack.  For those who don't know, Lidl is the supermarket most motor-homers frequent - the quality and prices are good, they stock food from all over Europe and there is a Lidl in almost every town, usually with good parking as well.  Might need to look into getting panniers or a second rucksack as it is quite easy getting around on the bikes.

Chilled for a while (with some Skype to Charms & grandparents) and then went to sit on the beach and watch the goings on in the late afternoon.  We went back into Calella for a final evening walk and will head off somewhere new tomorrow.
