Resting at Pineda de Mar

Bokkie hasn't moved a muscle yet, however Toni & I don't seem to have stopped moving!  We went for a walk yesterday evening into the local village which starts coming to life as the sun goes down, shops and bars start opening and the Spanish come out for the night.

This morning we went for another walk after breakfast and greeted the sun to the day.

We had a utility day cleaning the inside of Bokkie and trying to find and seal a leak into one of the lockers.

Some stats for those who are interested:
We have travelled 907 miles or 1,451 km on the continent.
We spent 119.55 Euro on tolls.
and 275 Euro on diesel  (diesel is now significantly less expensive in Spain, so this should slow down going forward).
Bokkie is running at about 26mpg or 11litre/100km, not exactly sipping the stuff but we'll see if this improves now that we have slowed down.
The first 4 nights in French Aires were all free, however we are now paying 18 euros a night for the campsite in Spain.  We plan on alternating free Aire camping with paying accommodation.

We decided as we are in Spain to have a siesta this afternoon, for some reason we were clapped.  We found out today that tomorrow and Friday are public holidays in Spain (6/12 is Constitution day and 8/12 is Immaculate Conception day) so we will see what is planned.  We went for another evening walk through the local village to buy some fruit.

Now it's back to Bokkie for some home-cooked supper and some chermoya fruit (custard apple) for dessert. And a cupboard of freshly washed and dried clothes...:-)
